Canada cop smashes car window: 'uncooperative' suspect is pulled from car in criticized move

A Canadian court will soon have to decide how far a police officer can go when trying to arrest a driver after video emerged of an arrest in November during which a Vancouver officer smashed the window of a car whose driver refused to exit the vehicle.

Legal experts said the officer crossed a line, but authorities said they had every legal right to arrest an "uncooperative" suspect in this manner. The court case is pending.
