Women Return to Work After Career Interruption
There are about 4.46 million women in Korea whose careers have been put on hold for marriage, childbirth and parenting. Although they wish to return to work, it is difficult after a long lapse in employment. As the return of women to the workforce is of great consequence to national productivity and the economy, various solutions have been proposed to boost the resumption of their careers. We diagnose the current situation and hear from women who have successfully returned to their careers.
