Vladimir Putin Joined By World Leaders for Massive Victory Day Parade

Moscow hosted the 2015 Victory Day parade on its iconic Red Square, the biggest ever such parade marking the 70th anniversary of Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II, called the Great Patriotic War in Russia, on May 9th, 1945. Part of the parade certainly conveys pride of emerging victorious from the greatest war ever fought, but another part of the parade also signals a desire to prevent this sort of bloodshed from ever happening again.
