Before Brad Pitt barked out the First Rule of Fight Club, people were talking about Fight Club: The novel by Chuck Palahniuk won a some awards, but the film adaptation in 1999 is what put the story on the map.

David Fincher’s movie of Fight Club made a huge splash when it was released in 1999, but it didn’t exactly stay true to its source material. It’s still the story of an insomniac recall specialist. Both involve some serious Mayhem… but along the way from page to screen, a lot of things changed. We’ll tell you all the differences we could find.
