Following on from Lutto Lento's idiosyncratic inauguration, a second release of curious delights emerges From Them Depths. The music we've heard from the Portugese trio has thus far fallen somewhere between carefree and inscrutable, and they continue that here, with a video to match from Sasha Litvintseva. What we can latch onto are the psychedelic trails sketched out by a lone axe-wielder, their fitful scratches crossing across a choppy backbeat. "Falcao" feels akin to a golden-era Can demo reel: all jam, no band. It's a helluva lot more effective than Radamel, that's for sure.
