These chimneys were designed and are manufactured in the US by a small shop that takes great pride in producing a product that is as durable as any piece of commercial food service or meat processing equipment. Besides being constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel, the chimney features a unique drop out bottom. Never deal with trying to dump out a chimney full of hot coals. Create contained piles easily where you need them. A trap door mechanism lets you place the chimney where it needs to be and then deposit the coals by pulling a trigger. No more having the flames come out the bottom and up your arm as you try to pour the coals. If you need a large spread, the unit still comes with a second handle that allows you to toss the coals over a large area. The handles are bolted on using stainless steel hardware.
