Motivational speaker Anthony McLean is frustrated with the stereotypes surrounding the black community in the United States. He’s sick of documentaries that profile “at-risk” youth. He’s fed up with the persisting rhetoric on the “black struggle” and so he sets out to show six African-American teens what it means to be black. The catch? He’s not sure what it means, either. This is an inspiring documentary of education and self-discovery.
