Hundreds of journalists participated in an event organized by the Palestinian Press House in Gaza to mark World Press Freedom Day. This was one of several events where the day was commemorated and the efforts of journalist in the Gaza Strip praised, especially with regards to the Protective Edge Israeli offensive last summer. Speakers also sent messages of solidarity to the families of 14 Palestinian journalists who were killed in the two-month-long military assault. Meanwhile tensions rise in the West Bank, where Israeli forces reportedly killed a Palestinian man, accusing him of stabbing an Israeli settler. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR.
