The FS-2100DN will do envelopes and there is an adjustment in the rear of the printer that needs to be moved to run envelopes with better success Keep in mind that all envelopes are not created equal and there may be some wrinkling that will be occurring when running envelopes This adjustment is for helping to lessen that issue If there is a major volume of envelopes the FS-2100DN may not be the best fit On small volumes we have had great success The models FS-4100DN and up have this adjustment automatically made from the print drivers
