Honduras: Gov't Claims of Reduced Child Migration Disputed

Claims by Honduras President Juan Orlando Fernandez following his six-day visit to the United States that child migration is down 75% in the past year have been disputed by local children's rights organizations. Casa Alianza, which works with poor children, says that deportations of undocumented minors from the United States and Mexico is considerably higher than last year, which would mean increased migration as well. Others say the government cannot document its claims, which are a public relations ploy. Gerardo Torres reports from Tegucigalpa. teleSUR
