34 years ago, Marty and Elayne Richards made their premier performance on the lounge stage at the Dresden Room in Los Angeles, California. The talented duo first met when Elayne was searching for a drummer to accompany her act. Ever since the connection was born, Marty has lovingly been keeping the beat behind Elayne as she soothes audiences with her multitude of instruments and falsetto scatting. For nearly three and half decades, Marty and Elayne have been drawing crowds from far and who return to the Dresden Room not just for the smooth jazz, but to watch this unique love story unfold on stage.
