Ingredients:
250 gms Chana Dal, soaked in water for 2 hours 1 Raw Mango, grated 1 tsp Mustard Seeds 1/4th tsp Turmeric Powder 2 - 3 Green Chillies Curry Leaves Coriander Leaves 1 tsp Sugar Salt to taste 2 tsp Oil

२५० gms चणा डाळ, २ तास पाण्यात भिजवून ठेवणे १ कैरी, किसून १ tsp मोहरी १/४ tsp हळद २ ते ३ हिरव्या मिरच्या काढीपत्ता कोथिंबीर १ tsp साखर मीठ २ tsp तेल Method:
- In a mixer, add the soaked chana dal, green chillies and curry leaves. Grind everything to a coarse paste. Add little water if required. - Transfer the chana dal paste into a bowl. - Add grated raw mango, coriander leaves, salt & sugar to the chana dal paste. Mix everything well. - For tempering, heat some oil. Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, curry leaves & turmeric powder. - Add the tempering to the chana dal mixture and mix everything well. - Ambe Dal is ready to serve! You can enjoy this side dish with chapati, bhakri or just by itself!
