Went to a Sat. night (4-18-2015) performance of Alvin Ailey and then another performance on Sunday afternoon at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion. It's amazing dancing as always and they come to Los Angeles once a year for 5 days from New York. They did one dance with a male dancer which was offset with strobe lighting and it made him appear as though he was flying through the air. I've never seen that done before. Pretty amazing! Of course, their signature piece is "Revelations".
