Puskas award contender: Lee Beattie (Prestatyn) scissor kick golazo from outside the box
26 year old Lee Beattie scored an unbelievable goal in Wales this afternoon during Prestatyn’s 3-1 defeat to Bangor City.
The Welshman, who joined Prestatyn from Meliden in January 2015, got sent off in his last Prestatyn outing but made up for it today.
With his side 3-0 down, Lee Beattie showed incredible goalscoring instincts to throw his body at a headed clearance on the edge of the box.
Beattie connected perfectly with his acrobatic scissor kick and the ball flew into the back of the Bangor City net.
One of the greatest consolation goals of all time and possibly a contester for the Puskas Award too
