Dr. Asarulislam Syed, an 11th Entry Abdalian lives in California USA. A celebrated Neurologist and Psychiatrist, he is employed for the past 14 years as Chief Psychiatrist for the State of California. He is a Pakistani American who began delivering Quran Lectures after 9/11 attacks on America, challenging Wahabiism and rebutting the wrongful interpretations of the Quran. He is grandson of Hafiz Syed Mohammed Ishaq, the disciple of Shamsul Ulema Syed Mir Hasan--- the renowned Quran Scholar who was the honored and revered teacher of Dr. Sir Mohammed. Dr. Asarulislam is a non-sectarian (non-denominational) Muslim. He delivers Quran message in the footsteps of his ancestors and like his grandfather, who was a contemporary of Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal.
