A spokesperson for the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia denies reponsibility in 11 recent deaths of military personnel, placing the blame on the Colombian Army. As President Juan Manuel Santos orders the resumption of bombings, the guerrilla group says it acted in self-defense in the face of stepped up military operations against them. FARC representative Pablo Catatumbo said that under the circumstances of government refusal to sign a bilateral ceasefire, the State is responsible for people killed due to the persistance of the war. teleSUR
