Murder of transgender woman in Hollywood caught on tape, LAPD searching for suspects

Aniya Parker was walking home in East Hollywood at around 2:30 am when three Hispanic men in their 20’s attempted to take her purse. Parker fled and one of the men chased her and shot her in the head at point blank range. The crime was caught on tape from surveillance cameras from nearby businesses.

Parker known to family as James, was originally from Arkansas. Her family has created a fundraising page to help collect money to help pay for her funeral expenses.
