A deadly plane collision in Taiwan has led to the cancellation of airplane flyovers that were scheduled for the 2014 Citizens Games. One of the crashed aircrafts -- an AT-3 trainer plane -- was part of the Thunder Tiger Aerobatics team.

An investigation team is examining the collision of the two planes, which led to the death of a pilot.

An official said Lieutenant colonel Zhuang Bei-yuan failed to eject at a high altitude, because he was waiting to find a spot to ditch the plane that was away from a residential area. He leaves behind a wife and a young child.
