A Changzhou mother, who hit her 6-year-old daughter because of her poor table, manners slapped her so hard she chipped the little girl’s tooth.
Sure, we’ve all had our moms scold us and remind us about having good table manners.
Don’t put your elbows on the table, don’t prop your chin in your hand while chewing, sit up straight, hold your bowl and cutlery properly with both hands.
This mom also didn’t allow her family to watch TV during dinner or allow her husband to use his phone or iPad during meals.
She’d fly into a rage if her family members failed to have good table manners! That’s when she slapped her daughter so hard she chipped one of her front teeth.
When questioned the mother said she wasn’t abusing her child, she was only disciplining her daughter. Why would you punish a mother for enforcing good behavior at the dinner table?
