Santa is real! Santa Claus impersonator legally changes his name to be the ‘real deal’
Meet Santa Claus, because that’s what it really says on his driver’s license or any other legal document. That’s is because this man, who dresses up as Father Christmas during the winter months when he’s not installing fire sprinkler systems the rest of the year, legally changed his name to Santa Claus.
He used to work at the US department store Macy’s but was disappointed at the brief time children got to spend with him and has since then gone freelance.
At this time of year, Mr. Claus’s schedule is packed and has him running from one location to another. His phone is also constantly chirping out Christmas carols as the calls keep rolling in.
Mr. Claus appears at private parties, company events, school events, or appears pro bono at hospitals to visit sick children.
He says he legally changed his name two years ago so that children would find him more believable. He enjoys his job and says he loves being able to bring a moment of happiness to all that see him, because sometimes a little Christmas spirit is all you need to brighten your day.
