Sex with dead body: Morgue attendant admits to necrophila during Adomonline interview on Adom TV

A Ghanaian mortician at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, Ghana says that part of his training included sleeping with corpses so that he wouldn’t be afraid of dead bodies.

Sharkur Lucas told the host of Ghanaian news program, Adomonline, that once he became a seasoned mortician, the necrophilia continued because women weren’t interested in marrying a “mortuary man.” Lucas says he has satisfied himself “many, many times.”

Since doing the interviews, Lucas has been fired and claims he’s wanted by authorities.

A 1989 study of 34 necrophilia cases at Case Western Reserve University found that 68% were motivated by a desire for a non-rejecting partner. They also found that 92% of necrophiliacs were male.
