Surveillance video of baby kidnapping leads to arrest of teen boy in Sprague Washington

Police in the town of Sprague, in eastern Washington State, have arrested a 15-year-old boy who was identified by witnesses to the attempted kidnapping of a 22-month-old baby yesterday
The teen's identity is being withheld by police because he is a minor. But they did say he was arrested at his home in Sprague, which has a population of about 500 and where the suspect is a longtime resident.
He was identified after being caught on video as he ran down the street with the baby in his arms. The baby's siblings followed close behind screaming for help.
The hunt for the failed-kidnapper started Wednesday when the teen snatched the baby in front of his older siblings, and fled.
The older children's screams alerted the owner of a nearby antique store, who sent her grandson and his friend to help chase the kidnapper.
The kidnapper, then put the child down in an empty lot and fled. He was arrested hours later.
