In the collection Agi & Sam menswear Spring Summer 2015, designers dived headlong into Japanese culture, adapting kimono shapes, outsized pleated volumes and apron detailing to achieve their notion of relaxed practicality and freedom. The muted colours and soft, brush-stroked surfaces stayed close to their sources of inspiration, as did the flat, panelled detailing and calmly abstract layers.
