Sebastião Salgado: A God’s eye view of the planet

For four decades he has used his camera to explore questions of politics, economics and inequality with images of ferocious power and beauty. His books include "Workers", "Migrations" and "Sahel". His latest work "Genesis" documents the world's forgotten people and places, from the Amazon to the Arctic and New Guinea.
As his first ever book of pictures, "Other Americas", is republished, one of the world’s greatest living photographers speaks to Eve Jackson about the Serra Pelada mine, Brazil’s development and how he couldn’t have made it without his wife.
