Civic strike brings city to a halt - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: The LG, VS and Shardaben hospitals again remained log-jammed as surgeries were postponed and patients had to rush to the Civil Hospital even for basic care. When it came to transport service, only 465 buses of the 800-odd buses were on the road. Passengers dropped from 6 lakh to 3.5 lakh owing to the strike.
