Wasim Akram Bowling After 10 years Against Nasir Hussain
Sky sports shot an interview of Wasim Akram, Michael Atherton and Nasir Hussain. It was an interview cum detail analysis of the game. The trio looked at different teams and discussed different players.
In one segment the TV channel asked Wasim to bowl three deliveries to Nasir Hussain and Mike Atherton. Wasim was more than happy to do so.
First Mike played his share of 3 balls and in the second part Nasir went to bat. The both batsman even tried to give an indication about the movement of the ball as well.
Wasim’s first ball was an in swinger and that was somehow spotted by Nasir Hussain. He immediately shouted in swing and then tried to play it down to the leg side but missed it and the ball hit on his pad.
Wasim, Mike and the host were pretty sure that Nasir is out as a result of LBW but Nasir said the other thing as per him it was not out as the ball pitched outside the leg stump line.
Wasim bowled the next one as an out swinger and again Nasir got beaten in an attempt to cut the ball on the off side. The last one again was an out swinger and this time Nasir never went for it.
He left it all alone and didn’t play it. After the bowling and batting session Wasim and Nasir went near to Mike and the host asked Mike that who is your favorite player whom you always difficulty in facing.
He immediately pointed towards Wasim Akram and Nasir also second him on his answer.
