Seoul seeks compromise on Kaesong wage row

With the wage dispute at the inter-Korean Kaesong Industrial Complex dragging on for weeks,... South Korea is now looking for a way to reach a compromise with the North.
A unification ministry official said Thursday that Seoul is seeking talks through its Kaesong Industrial District Management Committee and the North's Central Special Development Guidance Bureau.
That means there is a chance the wage hike could become a reality, as wage revisions are usually made by the two organizations.
This comes after North Korea unilaterally made a decision to raise the minimum wage by 5 percent for workers at the complex last month... and revise labor regulations.
