Joint Venture between Pak Oasis and CSUN (KTN News)

Pak Oasis, Asia’s leading company in the water engineering sector and CSUN, a NASDAQ-listed leading company which manufactures solar cells and modules have signed a joint venture to produce world class solar panels and transformers in Pakistan. CSUN is closely connected to the renowned CEEG Group, which has strategic partnerships with KME and DuPont. CSUN has extensive experience in the photovoltaic industry and is known for outstanding innovation and quality. Pak Oasis has made its mark by providing sustainable water solutions and effective water treatment within a green energy concept. Pak Oasis has installed numerouswater filtration plants across Pakistan that function completely on solar energy. The local production of world class transformers will ensure that consumers get superior quality of power supply. This revolutionary and innovative venture will economically benefit Pakistan and employment opportunities will also flourish for the local youth. An investment of this nature is yet another example of Pak-China friendship.
The Value of the project is expected to be PKR 3.5 billion with initial production capacity of 100 MW per year which shall gradually increase to 300 MW per year. The product shall be of highest international quality to be consumed locally or exported internationally.
