Surah Al-Ghashiyah (Arabic: الغاشية Surah Al-ghashiyah, The Overwhelming, The Pall) is the 88th surah of the Quran with 26 ayat. The surah's topics are Paradise, Hell and the miracle of creation of all things by Allah. According to hadith the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to recite al-Ghashiyah (Surah 88) on the day of Jumu'ah after surah Al-Jumua (Surah 62).
