Altaf Hussain calls Asif Zardari

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain called former president and Co-Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Asif Ali Zardari and briefed him about the illegal and arbitrary raid on MQM headquarters Nine-Zero, including his elder sister’s house.
The statement said that MQM Chief explained Mr. Zardari that how Rangers’ personnel enter Nine-Zero and vandalized everything in MQM headquarters, especially the operational offices and arrested all the office-bearers. He also told him about the brutal murder of MQM innocent worker Syed Waqas Shah by the Rangers’ firing.
Mr. Hussain told him that MQM kept cooperating to promote peace in the country and such activism was an act of maligning MQM from the national politics and its actual participation. He said that
Meanwhile, PPP’s Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the raid on MQM headquarters’ Nine-Zero and said to respect the sanctity of the political offices. He said that MQM was a big political party in the country having strong roots in the masses and also actively participated for strengthening of the democracy.
Mr. Zardari also condemned the arbitrary raid on the house of Mr. Hussain’s elder sister Saira Aslam and slammed maltreatment of the Rangers’ personnel, especially use of filthy language with the residing women. He ensued that PPP and MQM would continue to cooperate each other to protect democracy.
