Here on the Food Feeder, we've tasted Lemon Oreos. Watermelon Oreos. Peanut Butter, Marshmallow Krispy, Caramel Apple... Look there's a character limit to these descriptions. RED VELVET OREOS!
Red Velvet flavored things that aren’t cake have also been a frequent feature here on the show, with no shortage of candy varieties, and even red velvet pop tarts. Sadly, no actual red velvet cake, which is delicious, and we’d like some please.
Nope, instead, the good folks at Nabisco have finally realized the enormous crossover potential between Oreos and our ongoing national obsession with red velvet. So, as a special limited edition Valentine’s day treat, we’ve got some Red Velvet Oreos! We know Valentine’s Day was weeks ago, but we’re pretty sure you’ve got to let Oreos age. Right? Right?
As a treat to Noah, we’ve also promised this is the last time we’re going to make him do Oreo tastings on camera. So enjoy it while it lasts!
The Overlords of Tasted.com love feeding you guys what you love, and you love to watch us try foods for you, so that you don't have to (or so you can decide whether to run out and get some). Thus, we’re celebrating Valentine’s Day a mere 3 weeks late with these Red Velvet Oreos!
What’s your favorite variation on the classic Oreo? Did you enjoy a package of these with your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day? Are you sad to see Oreos depart the Food Feeder Stage? What other infinitely varied snack food would you like to see make frequent appearances on the show? What was your favorite Oreo taste test?
TELL US EVERYTHING!
