Tension flare between France's Jewish and Muslim umbrella groups over Islamic terrorism

This year's annual dinner of France's Jewish umbrella organisation was supposed to show that France was united in the wake of January's deadly terrorist attacks. Instead, it ended up highlighting the deepening divide between Jews and Muslims in France, much to the chagrin of the French authorities. Also this week, France makes use for the first time of a new tool in the anti-terrorism arsenal: preventing French citizens from travelling abroad to places like Syria.
