Major Zahid Iqbal was killed during clashes with the militants in Dattakhel area of North Waziristan Agency on Friday.
His funeral prayers were held at his ancestral village Shirpur. A large number of people including military officials attended the funeral of the martyred major. He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard.
