EU farming reforms under way in Greece, Spain and Germany

In this second part of the show, we travel to Greece, where the new Syriza-led government has pledged to make better use of EU farming subsidies. We also ask how the government plans to crack down on CAP-related fraud.
In Athens, we speak to farming researcher Epameinondas Evergetis, as well as Kriton Arsenis, a member of Syriza and former Greek MEP.
We also travel to Spain to discover Andalusia’s olive groves, where the region’s young unemployed are hoping to find jobs in the agricultural sector.
Finally, we head to a dairy farm in Germany, where small-scale farmers complain that European handouts favour intensive farming.
