Snow and heavy rains in West Bank and Gaza

A heavy winter storm hit Palestinian territories on Friday morning with temperatures dropping to 5° Centigrade. Due to snow and strong winds, more than 20 people have been injured in the towns and cities of the West Bank. Heavy rains in Gaza have led to flooding and many people have been forced to evacuate their homes. Due to the harsh winter weather and rising demands for electricity, the main power and light company will not even be able to provide the customary 6 hours of service a day in Gaza.
