First rider, first day at Redbull Joyride and Brayden Barrett-Hay had an ugly, life-threatening mountain bike crash. He was knocked unconscious for a day and was bleeding in three places on his brain.
Brayden nearly had to have brain surgery, and riding his bike was out of the question - another head injury could have killed him. But through rehab and healing he's got another chance. Brayden's been off his bike for months but it's not going to stop him from 'coming back'.
This is just the first step...
