Third phase of reconstruction of Gaza Strip begins

In 2003, the Israeli army destroyed 18% of the Palestinian city of Rafah. Now, almost 13 years later, the United Nations is placing the first brick in the third phase of the reconstruction of the homes destroyed during that time. This new phase of the project, financed by Saudi Arabia, should be finished by March, 2016; however it is unknown how long the reconstruction of the rest of Gaza will take, as it is continually devastated by ongoing Israeli attacks. teleSUR.
