Mexican president announces series of anti-corruption measures

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto announced a series of anti-corruption measures aimed at preventing conflicts of interest. The announcement took place following the disclosure of real-estate purchase and sale operations by the president himself, his wife, and high ranking officials of his cabinet with government contractors. The Public Administration Ministry will be in charge of carrying out an investigation and of implementing the measures to fight corruption in the country. teleSUR
