Mini Mondo - Magnetic Desktop Toy
Dating from around 1990, Mini Mondo is a magnetic toy for the desktop. With a strong magnet in the circular base, there are a variety of metal objects that can be balanced on top.
The toy has a circus theme, with clowns and an elephant, plus a variety of objects for the clowns to juggle with, or even the elephant, if he/she fancies a spot of juggling.
The magnet in the base means that the objects can be arranged in some unlikely positions, that defy gravity.
It is a charming little toy, although it speaks maybe of more relaxed times, when there was room on the desktop for toys. These days, with all the financial difficulties in the world, I suspect that most people sitting at a desk are too busy working.
