The Heart-Stopping Moment Two Paragliders Collide in Mid-Air

When Alasdair and Xiaoting Jones began their second day paragliding in the skies above Medellín, Colombia, they could never have imagined how it would end. This video shows the horrifying moment that one of the other paragliders collided with Xiaoting in mid-air, sending both hurtling towards the ground. Fortunately, Xiaoting triggered the reserve parachute and both landed safely on a high tree.After it was all over, Alasdair described New Year’s Eve 2015 as his most memorable ever, but for all the wrong reasons.
