Seven passengers from an Italian ferry that caught ablaze off the Greek coast are airlifted to a Greek hospital.

Health officials say those seven victims, all men, are suffering from respiratory problems due to smoke inhalation.

Authorities say at least seven people died in the at-sea inferno, that started in the vessel's lower deck.

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras offers his condolences.
