France: Growing Anti-Semitism | Focus on Europe

France is home to about 600,000 Jews. Until recently 2,000-3,000 had been leaving the country each year. But now that number has jumped dramatically.
Many French Jews are convinced that anti-Semitism has become socially acceptable in their country. By the end of December, an estimated 5,000 Jews will have left in 2014 alone. Most of them move to Israel.
