A woman living in Washington D.C. is the victim of a series of thefts and she came up with an epic way to get some revenge. 33-year-old Andrea Hutzler decided to fill a box with dog poop to put a stop to the illegal acts.
All over the country, police see an increase in the number of package thefts during the Christmas season. One woman in Washington D.C. came up with an epic way to get revenge after a series of robberies.
33-year-old Andrea Hutzler decided to fill a box with dog poop to put a stop to the illegal acts, where packages of clothes, Christmas gifts and even remodeling supplies were stolen right off her porch.
At first, she installed surveillance cameras in an effort to thwart the thief or thieves, but her items continued to vanish. She later reviewed the footage and witnessed the same man showing up at her doorstep to steal her packages.
Fed up, she opted to fill the box with feces from her own two dogs and leave it there for the suspect to swipe. She told reporters “I feel happy. I had wanted to put in a note, like 'Surprise! Please stop stealing my crap.”
Approximately $850 worth of goods has been stolen from Hutzler. She is now sending her packages elsewhere.
It’s uncertain at this time if the same individual is behind all the thefts, but police have launched an investigation to find out who is responsible.
