Fishing Expedition East Coast of Malaysia Part 6 Final

Reached Kuala Terengganu in the early morning, was worn out from the journey and found a quite corner to rest. just right beside the Kuala Terengganu Airport, I guessed it's a reclaimed land as the area is surrounded with water breaker.

Woke up by the bright sun light, after brushing up and breakfast, I climbed up to the water breaker and started some fishing. The sea was choppy and wind was strong, lot's of structures on the seabed nearby, I got my line snagged a few times. It didn't produce anything so I went for lunch after a few hours of fishing.

Strolling with my car and saw another long stretching water breaker in the shape of a semi circle, found a path that is linked to it and I drove up to look see look see.

I headed south to Rantau Abang, the famous tourism area due to the Greenback Turtles. After my shower at the rest area, went on recce and saw some anglers on the beach, had some chat with them and was told that the beach is very productive and many biggies were caught. I set up my rods to find out if this last stop would bring me any glory.

It turns out that I was left with nothing to show for my entire trip, a bit disappointed, but I had a great time on it, even though I didn't sleep much from the first day, it was like less than 12 hours over the 3 days 4 nights.

In 2013 I went for another trip which's shorter and more simple, on the Kijal abandoned Star Cruise Jetty.
