My Little Disney: The Wonderful Thing about Tiggers

There are some technical difficulties with the next Buffy song, so I'm afraid my in-between "Once More with Pony" is going to have to wait a little bit. Instead, I'm moving straight into the next Disney movie, and boy do I have a lot to say about this one.

Casting Pinkie for Tigger is pretty much a no brainer and I've been thinking about doing this movie for more than a year now, but one thing has been holding me back. And that thing is named Winnie the Pooh. I could talk for HOURS about my problems trying to cast Pooh but all my arguments all boil down to one thing: Pooh is calm. Zen is the best word that comes to mind when I think of him; very little elicits a strong emotion from him and when it does he usually just plods along amicably until he reaches the solution. NO ONE IN MY LITTLE PONY ACTS THIS WAY! I'm still not sold on Spike playing the part, but he fits all of Pooh's other characteristics: childlike, friendly, courageous in a pinch. It just leaves a sour taste in my mouth that I can't really peg down one of the most famous Disney characters. I don't know, maybe it's not as big a deal as I'm making it out to be...

But anyway, welcome to the next set, everypony! It's time to start the Tigger Movie!

I do not own My Little Pony or Disney, but the tea is finally ready. Do you like sugar in yours, because I prefer the more natural sweetness of hon... hey! It's all gone! Darn it, Pooh, why are all my problems centered around you lately?!
