Jordan's King Abdullah visits Capitol Hill

STORY: Jordan's King Abdullah met with U.S. officials in Washington on Tuesday (December 2).

The Jordanian king is on a working visit during which he will meet with U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday.

The two leaders are expected to discuss various strategic issues in the Middle East including the fight against Islamic State militants, Palestinian-Israeli tensions, the crisis in Syria and Iraq, as well as the Syrian refugee problem.

King Abdullah will also meet with key U.S. administration officials, House and Senate leaders and Washington-based think tanks.
