Angelina Jolie looks to focus on family and directing in her future

Angelina Jolie says she prefers working behind the camera instead of in front of it, but on Tuesday (November 25) at the London premiere of her searing prisoner-of-war drama "Unbroken" she added that she is not giving up acting entirely.

Instead she hopes for a natural transitions to behind the camera, while she adds additional focus to raising her children with husband Brad Pitt and continuing her humanitarian work with the United Nations.

The dark comedy "Birdman" led the Independent Spirit Awards nominees on Tuesday (November 25) with six nominations.

"Birdman," which follows in a seamless take the journey of a washed-up actor as he embarks on a theater comeback, scored a best actor nod for Michael Keaton, best supporting actor and actress for Edward Norton and Emma Stone.

The Independent Spirit Awards are held the day before Hollywood's glitzy Oscars ceremony on February 21.
