One Direction enshrined in life-like wax figures at Madame Tussauds Hollywood

STORY: Hot off their night at the American Music Awards, One Direction were similarly feted at Madame Tussauds Hollywood Monday (November 24) when their newest wax likenesses were unveiled. The long anticipated unveiling came about from an outpouring of requests from fans. Madame Tussauds Hollywood general manager, Colin Thomas, explained that the young British pop group was is in very high demand, and each of the figures was far from cheap. "Each figure cost three hundred thousand dollars, so you're looking at a 1.5 million dollar investment here, and the figures are just here for a limited time, just for three months, and their touring the world throughout the Madame Tussauds attractions," Thomas explained.
