Honduras' Miss World contestant found murdered

A beauty queen murdered... just days before the Honduran was due to compete in the Miss World pageant.
Police say the bodies of 19-year-old Maria Jose Alvarado and her sister Sofia were found buried near a river in the mountainous region of Santa Barbara. Police say they've also found the murder weapon.
They've arrested two men in connection to the crime -- and according to the Interior Minister, one of them is the boyfriend of the beauty queen's sister.
Reports say the girls were last seen leaving a party, in a car without a license plate -- a disappearance that has sent shockwaves through the city.
Honduras is considered the murder capital of the world... and much to the distress of this family, their beautiful daughter has been caught in the cycle of violence.
