Irish Woman Among Superstars on FIFA Best-Goal List

FIFA’s list of nominees for the best goal of the past year contains some of the most illustrious names in world football, including Diego Costa, Robin Van Persie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Alongside them is Irishwoman Stephanie Roche, who scored a fantastic goal and a viral video hit when playing for Peamount United against Wexford Youths in a Women’s National League in October 2013.Voting for the best goal from the list of 10 nominees has opened online.
